MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS

The Cypress Marketing Team is responsible for communicating the Cypress product portfolio via conferences, press releases and social media. This team publicizes Cypress products and solutions and to create new business leads for the Sales team.

Marketing Communications Specialist: Plans, develops and implements messaging for promotion of product awareness, business plans and management communications. Partners with management, business units, and the sales team to leverage broad corporate or product messaging. Develops, enhances, or revises marketing collateral for web, print or other media channels. Participates in media-placement decisions. May work with outside agencies to build and execute a media strategy. May function as an editor for formal business communications. May design and implement measurements to analyze messaging and program effectiveness, and quantify revenue generated from executed programs.

Product Marketing Engineer: Develops business plans, marketing strategy, and forecasts for assigned product lines. Maintains current status of customer requirements for existing and future products. Identifies, evaluates and recommends marketing opportunities consistent with product-line objectives. Serves as the internal and external evangelist for the specific product(s) or product line(s) by creating compelling messages and demonstrating the benefits and capabilities. Establishes awareness and desire for the product.

Pricing Marketing Analyst: Develops, evaluates and implements pricing strategies and models based upon current business and competitive market dynamics. Conducts research and performs competitive pricing analysis. Monitors ongoing competitive environment to ensure that practices do not adversely impact company reputation or customer satisfaction. Partners with Sales/Marketing, Business Development and Finance to correctly position our product portfolio and establish pricing programs aligned with product/sales strategy and revenue recognition requirements. Evaluates opportunities to monetize products offered initially at little to no cost (such as online gaming products), or to create upsell opportunities as products are re-positioned in the marketplace. Projects impact of pricing changes, individual promotions, and rebate programs on revenue. Creates/Administers pricing databases and coordinates implementation of pricing proposals across the organization.
