Location: Indiana (general Indiana State area)

In this role, the candidate will have the required business acumen and expertise to handle assigned accounts (Automotive Tier-1s and/or OEMs) in a given territory to meet overall strategic and revenue plans.  Candidates will need to have established his or her reputation in-front of customers and distribution partners through his/her strong working experience in the given domain.

Customers and partners view the candidate as a valuable resource to their business.  The candidate must be strategic in nature how to manage multinational corporations along with growing the demand creation funnel, revenue, and market share.  The successful candidate must possess a deep knowledge about the system architecture of their customers designs, TAM/SAM/SOM in the assigned account or territory, customer/partner business challenges, and the design and purchasing locations. 

Candidate must have thorough understanding of customer's requirements and be able to engage the key decision makers directly.  Candidate must be capable enough to take ownership of issues and guide the appropriate partner resources (technical, business, and management) and Cypress resources (FAEs, Sales, Business Unit, Operations, and Management) to solve customer's technical and tactical business issues.

Key Requirements:

  • Candidate should have experience in selling Automotive MCUs, Memories and other semiconductor devices to key Automotive Tier-1s and OEMs
  • Involved in annual negotiations with Strategic customers
  • Ability to Build a strong Opportunity funnel and meet revenue targets
  • Experience in Solution selling to customers
  • Good knowledge on the Automotive market in the Americas including competitors
  • Eager to learn and acquire knowledge on Cypress products
  • Strong Team player
  • Willing to travel
