Job Description

Excellent customer and sales support skills. Business and sales savvy with the ability to see the bigger picture. May provide inputs to management for process improvements and plan definition. Mostly an individual contributor but capable of independent decision making. Serves as an accountable resource. Capable of “manning’ the CustomerCare support hotline, with a focus on customer satisfaction metrics. Responsibilities include performing diverse scope of assignments in the support of the sales managers, marketing and factory through direct interaction with customers, distributors and channel partners. Provide lead contact information and closes sales generated by cold calling. Responsible to support accounts in a key region or district. May travel to customer/ channel partner site for training. Possess full knowledge and understanding of industry best practices and company policies and procedures. Solves dynamic problems and provides creative solutions. Receives little instruction from direct manager on routine work and general instructions on new projects or assignments. Negotiates a “win win” deal; keeps everyone’s best interest in mind even when the situation is not clearly defined. Carefully develops support for position; makes good use of facts; is very convincing. Constantly seeks information to understand customers better and to identify and influence customers’ actual and perceived needs. Is trustworthy and credible to peers and superiors within own organization

Skills

Frequently interacts with immediate manager, senior management and customers. Mid Level customer interface. Partners with Operations and Sales management.

Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Coordinates major customer problems and negotiations. Drives account specific initiatives.

Schedules projects independently.

Creates plan recommendations and prepares presentations to management. Develops portions of annual and quarterly account or territory plan. Account specific forecast inputs.
