Job Description

Infineon is looking for an outstanding Business Development leader to drive the world-wide business development for Flash Solutions. As the Sr. Director of Business Development, you will lead a team of regional marketing members located regionally across the world and a central team in the head-quarter to cover all business development activities across the target segments. As a leader with strong entrepreneurial spirit, business acumen, excellent analytical skills, and leadership of high-performance teams, you drive profitable growth of Flash products through winning and nurturing customer relationships.

Responsibilities
•             Manage and develop a team of world-wide regional marketing experts and central tactical marketing and segment marketing members
•             Develop the Flash business development team through staff-development and hiring 
•             Identify market trends new market opportunities. Win short-term opportunities with high amount of agility and long-term opportunities with perseverance
•             Establish strong customer relationships on all levels including C-level engagements and strategic partnerships
•             Gain customer’s trust through solving customer’s challenges faster, with superior services and positioning our world-class products
•             Contribute to market research by region and market segment, providing inputs to a TAM/SAM/SOM market model used for business planning
•             Define the pricing strategy, extracting pricing based on value of the solution
•             Effectively position our products at the customers in our target markets
•             Develop sales opportunity funnel of Design-Wins and Design-Ins to fuel future profitable growth
•             Maintain quarterly and annual revenue and margin plans
•             Support sales with world-class trainings and collateral
•             Represent Cypress Flash BU at conferences, meetings, and industry events as thought leader
•             Identify revenue synergies between Infineon and former Cypress business 
•             Closely work with product marketing on a winning product roadmap

Skills

Requirements for the position include
•             15 years of business development experience
•             Experience in semiconductor marketing, preferably semiconductor memories and their use in target applications, Sales experience is a plus
•             Experience in operating across cultures and regions, leading a team across multiple countries and continents
•             Market knowledge in several of the target markets automotive, mobile infrastructure, enterprise networking, wireless infrastructure, industrial applications, and medical
•             Proven track record of driving revenue growth at superior margins
•             Strong analytical and planning skills combined with the ability to make your numbers
•             Outstanding written and verbal communication skills including effective communication to senior executives
•             Domestic and international travel required
